Illustrated steps: NFC magnetic music player. Videos below cover record and cassette players. Standard sets have no preloaded music.

  1. Connect with a data cable Connect the computer and NFC magnetic music player with a USB-C data cable. USB-C data cable

    Connect to your computer

Connect the player using the included USB-C data cable. It appears as an external drive on Windows or Mac.

Use an adapter if your computer’s ports require one. No additional driver or dedicated software is needed.

Open the drive and find folders 01–09. Keep these folder names unchanged.

  2. Match files to numbered folders Copy MP3 files into the folder named 01. Folders are numbered 01 through 09. MP3 Copy 01 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09
    02

    Add MP3 files

Drag your MP3 tracks into the matching numbered folders: track for disc 01 → folder 01, and so on.

MP3 files only. WAV, FLAC and M4A are not supported. Keep artwork, documents and other unrelated files out of the numbered folders.

    Replacing a song on Mac

Back up anything you want to keep. Select only the old music files on the player’s drive, then use the manual’s Option + Command + Delete shortcut.

This permanently deletes the selected files. Check your selection carefully; never delete the numbered folders or format the drive. Copy the new MP3 into the same numbered folder.

Use audio files you own or have permission to use.

  3. Eject before unplugging Select Eject. Wait until eject is complete, then unplug the cable. Player Eject Eject complete Then unplug

    Eject safely

Wait for copying to finish. Eject the player’s drive before unplugging the cable.

    • Windows: right-click the drive and select Eject.
    • Mac: click Eject beside the drive in Finder. You can also drag the drive icon to the Trash/Eject icon.

Ejecting disconnects the drive safely; it does not delete your songs.

  4. Match each sticker to its folder Attach sticker 01 to the disc back and match it to the folder named 01. Stickers are numbered 01 through 09. Disc back 01 Attach sticker Match 01 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09

    Match the numbers

If your numbered NFC stickers are supplied separately, attach each to the back of its matching disc. If already fitted, check the numbers instead.

The set uses numbers 01–09. A disc with sticker 01 reads the music in folder 01.

Keep each sticker, disc and folder number matched. Do not stack another sticker over one already fitted.

  5. Place a disc to play Press and hold Power. Place a disc on the sensing area. Use Vol+ and Vol− to adjust volume. Sensing area Power Press and hold Vol+ Vol−

    Turn on & play

After disconnecting the data cable, press and hold the power button to turn the player on.

Place a disc on the central sensing area. Its matching music plays automatically. Use VOL+ and VOL− to adjust the volume.

    Swap discs to change tracks.

Setup questions

My track is not playing

Check that it is an MP3, the folder names are still 01–09, and the sticker number matches the folder. Finish copying and safely eject the drive before playing.

I have a cassette player or rotating music box

The illustrated steps are for the NFC magnetic music player. For cassette assembly and setup, watch the cassette tutorial. Rotating models use a front card slot; follow their supplied instructions rather than the disc-sticker placement shown here.
